'What? Is she an old friend of yours perhaps? Or was she Uther's?' Arthur mind-snarled. 'She said her life belonged to me, I'm just fact-checking and ensuring her loyalty has not faded yet.'

The sphere fell to the ground and its shape burst in a circular motion. The natural flow of magicules around the emissary came back the next instant, re-invigorating her at the same time.

With the back of his hand, Arthur spread the red liquid on the side of his face. The intense steel-like stench woke up a remote place of his mind that triggered an important drooling. He spat the excess rather than swallowing it and crouched to have a better look at the rejuvenating face.

"Good." He said, helping her to stand up.

The constant irrigation of the rainfolk's skin hid beneath an immortal-like youth an elderly woman. Arthur's morbid curiosity added to his will to assert his authority led to a near-death experience.
