At the boundary of Glaucus, the protective bubble shimmered, separating the air-filled city from the vast, dark ocean beyond.

Arthur paused, glancing around to ensure he was alone. Satisfied, he took a deep breath, the sound of his inhale echoing faintly in the stillness. With one final look at the bubble, he stepped through.

The cold, crushing embrace of the ocean enveloped him instantly, saltwater soaking into his clothes as he swam into the darkness. The underwater pressure quickly pressing down his temple.

His movements were swift, his body propelled by his strength and Greed's intangible pull, drawing the water around him to hasten his escape.

The lantern followed closely, its glow muted yet unwavering as they ascended toward the seabed near the city's outskirts.

Minutes later, Arthur emerged from the water near a secluded rocky outcrop. His hidden stash of clothes was untouched, the bundle carefully concealed beneath the dock.
