Arthur rubbed his chin, his expression shifting to one of contemplation. "Rainfolks… They're not bad people. If anything, they've got a stronger sense of justice than most, and their weapons are formidable. They wouldn't risk exposing themselves lightly, not unless they thought it was worth the gamble."

Melite arched an eyebrow. "Risk? What risk?"

Arthur gave a faint smile, his cyan eyes reflecting something deeper. "Attacking the libraries, stealing what they did… It risks the government finding out where they are. They've stayed hidden for so long. This puts them in jeopardy."

"Why would they take that chance, then?" Aleks asked, leaning on the table with curiosity.

Arthur sighed, his fingers tapping rhythmically against the wood. "Because I taught them a few runes. A few too many, maybe. They've always been resourceful, but with the little I shared, they might've seen this as their only way to fight back. And now, it's dragging them into more trouble."
