"You know how easy it is to read on your lips, Seisyll?" Arthur's voice cut through the low hum of the inn, his gaze sharp as he glanced over his shoulder from where he sat with Melite and Aleks.
Seisyll tilted his head slightly, unbothered. "I wasn't planning on hiding it from you, me-King." he replied softly, his tone carrying the faintest note of reverence, or perhaps defiance.
Arthur's eyes lingered on him for a moment before narrowing. "Going out tonight?"
"Yes." Seisyll said evenly, a faint smile crossing his scarred face. "We should be back by morning."
Arthur's expression tightened, though he didn't rise from his seat. He nodded once, his voice low but firm. "Take care of Fed."
