In the distance, the main port of Blasted Heath burned, flames licking at the sky and smoke billowing upward like a dark omen. Fedlimid's eyes lingered on it briefly before turning away, his expression grim. Arthur spared it only a fleeting glance. Their focus remained on the task at hand, securing the fragile glass trees they'd gathered.

The two worked in silence, using the ropes they'd scavenged to carefully bind the sharp, glittering branches to Arthur's dragon form. Each knot was tied with precision, ensuring the brittle glass wouldn't snap or cut during the long flight back.

Fedlimid, his humor as dry as the air, eventually broke the quiet. "What about a dune rabbit saddle? Might make it easier for you to carry everything."

Arthur's eyes narrowed as he paused, giving Fedlimid a sharp look. "Try it, and I'll make sure you regret every moment of that thought."

Fedlimid snorted faintly, the smallest flicker of amusement crossing his otherwise grim face.
