Chapter 140 - Turf war

The battle erupted in the narrow confines of the lair, shadows dancing wildly on the jagged walls as Arthur and the black beast clashed. Fedlimid's monstrous form moved like liquid darkness, all rippling sinew and malevolence, filling the cavern with a suffocating aura of dark magic. Arthur dodged the first strike, a vicious, sweeping claw aimed at his throat. The air screamed as it passed, carving a deep gouge into the stone wall behind him, sending shards flying.

The beast didn't relent. Its second attack came in a predatory pounce, its powerful legs driving it forward like a storm of fur and claws.

Arthur leapt to the side, narrowly avoiding being crushed, but the impact shook the cavern. Dust and debris rained from above, and cracks spidered across the walls.

He landed unsteadily, the beast already turning with feral agility, its glowing red eyes locking onto him with murderous intent.

A part of the ceiling fell off, nearly crushing the beast.
