At Coal Four, Captain Airo stood as straight as a pin. His lieutenants covered the body of the princess of the Tashran Kingdom with pieces of armor. It was the cleanest, most ornamental item they had on hand.

No one was sad for her, just worried about the reaction of their superiors and that of the continent. The Rainlet and Tashran Kingdom alliance would never be the same after such an accident.

Messengers had already left the harbor on an official ship to warn their superiors. Their stable, everyday lifestyle was soon to end.

Airo gritted his teeth so hard his jaw ached. His hatred for the group of intruders was only growing. He felt the need, to cover himself and to feel better, to get away.

What had he done? He had almost certainly killed Arthur by trapping him under the volcano, with an army of slaves ready to tear apart any lone mage who appeared in the tunnel.
