After four hours, the group saw movement in the distance. The vegetation was only slightly thicker, and that was the only change in the landscape they had noticed.
The sky retained a violet tint during the day with a few traces of white, and the clouds that dominated it had a distinctive shade of blue that resembled that of Arthur's eyes. They were getting closer.
What made Livestock Nine so special was its proximity to the surrounding mines. As well as being an extensive area, the many animal farms in the vicinity had fed the soil, which in turn fed the animals.
Something that wasn't in the first camp was coming out of the ground, grass, fine but yellow. This was its normal color. Fortunately, it didn't have the glass-like composition of the local flora, which would have been a danger.
They stopped to eat. Fatigue was their only enemy for the moment.
