With the rusted blade in his hand, he swiftly approaches the Crypt opening where his expected adversaries would be coming. He heard echoes and began to prowl, moving towards one of the graves to take cover. The men appeared, it was Donna's men and the old man who had promised to show them the crypt.
"This is the place" The old man notified the soldiers. The men stepped forward into the crypt gazing at the paintings, and the tombs and were filled with anxiety.
"Is this a joke?" One of the men asked furiously,
"I was suggesting, they'd be here" The old man whimpered in fear.
The other soldier still gazing at the walls asked the old man,
"How old is this place?"
"Older than any man on this earth, this is the grave home of the first to the fifth king of Mediopolis, the torches never burn out. Suddenly, they heard a clinking sound like metal falling to the ground. The men were alerted and immediately grabbed a torch.
"Who's there?" One called out, "Show yourself"
Cameron picked up his corroded sword and slowly walked out of his hideout,
"I would rather not hurt you" he took a combatant pose to fight with them while counting his steps.
The soldiers smirked as they glanced at each other.
"We would not want to hurt us either" They replied and charged at the young man while the old man sat on the ground to watch.
The first soldier struck the first blow which collided with Cameron's sword causing him to stumble back a little, the second soldier followed suit with a punch. However, Cameron countered and threw his blade, hitting the soldier in the side of the neck and knocking him out.
They turned their attention towards Cameron, who held on to the hilt of his sword and charged back at him again.
Donna walked into the scene just at the entrance looking at the old man in disdain before turning to watch the fight.
"Hmm" she mumbled looking impressed at Cameron.
After dodging several hits, Cameron managed to disarm one of them with one strike, but he wasn't fast enough to evade a stab straight from one of the remaining men. He screamed in pain, but managed to block another blow by pushing it aside. His opponent quickly got back up, ready for another attack.
This time, Cameron didn't give him the chance, his sword came down on the soldier's aegis and broke. He looked disappointedly and realized he was using a corroded sword. He set his hands for hand-to-hand combat ready to take them on with a weapon,
"I'm defenceless now," He said as he pants, "why don't you put away your weapons and let's handle this like… ARGH!!"
Donna's arrow met his back, making him drop to the ground with a thud. She smirked down at him as she marched her foot on his back.
"This one is skilled, but his accent tells me he's not from here"
"That's our King's boy" The old man revealed, still sitting on the ground she narrowed her eyes as the words came to her ears.
"Take him" She took her foot off him and commanded. The two bruised soldiers pulled Cameron by the arms and dragged him out of the crypt.

The cavern bore out the four of them, with their touches still lit on. They were finally outside the kingdom and were running upon the sandy ground without trees or shrubs. However, they breathed sighs of relief as they halted. Valeria moved a few steps forward, pacing through the sky, she could see the light of flames of her burning city reflecting on the dark sky. She began to break down in tears as she knelt on her knees, staring at her fallen homeland. She had failed her city, she thought, today she is leaving her responsibility for the sake to save herself. She could hear the wailings emerging from the city and echoing through the air.
It was as if it were singing its last song, and the sound of the wind carried every word. The cries of grief resonated throughout the air, making Valeria's heart twist in pain. Tears began streaming from her eyes as she covered her mouth to try to silence the sobbing sounds coming out.
The group moved forward, not knowing what to do. Rufus made his way toward his grieving mother, trying to calm her down, but he did nothing to make her feel better. It was as if she couldn't see her son any more, all she saw was what was once beautiful in life gone. After hearing Valeria's sobs, he placed his hands around her shoulders, hugging his mother tightly.
"My Queen…" Vitus whispered, placing his hand upon her shoulder, "…it'll be OK. Let's go, we have to find safety first."
She stood up and wiped off some of her tears and looked down upon Rufus in front of her,
"Thank you, my young Lord," She said, caressing his cheek. Irene sobbed at the drama displayed in front of her, the agonies in her life never seemed to stop. Her lover could be dead for all she knew, hope is gradually drifting away from the good and deserving, while the wicked have always had their cake after they eat it. She felt helpless where she stood and wished for the sun to rise. But before dawn, these four souls will have to mourn outside their fallen home.
