I woke up with a gasp; my lips were stinging for some reason. I had to shake my head and recover my last memories before falling victim to unconsciousness.
"Bane!" I sat up, grimacing as the flashbacks came in. "A betrayer's kiss?"
"Who are you calling betrayer?"
A voice came from beside me. If I wasn't mistaken, it was the same person responsible for the dizziness and confusion.
I glanced at my surroundings and gasped.
Apparently, I was in a lavish room with yellowish and greenish artifacts seem to lay around.
Scary statues of snakes and different reptiles accompanied us in the spacious room.
The four-poster bed was draped in green silk, and even the scent in the soft bedding was a mixture of lemonade and mint.
Suddenly, Bane yawned, stretching as they got up beside me. I narrowed my gaze and realized I was barely wearing enough clothing. I pulled the covers and wrapped my body in them.
