The place where Winter led us to was close to the bridge leading to the Casa. It was so close that I got a glimpse of the place and it was no longer heavily guarded.
It was tempting to check it out, but of course, we didn't come here for that.
Just like the rest of the buildings, we had passed by and the houses around Tollista, this one has been abandoned.
Winter stopped several feet away. She lowered her head, and I suddenly felt guilty for what I had said earlier. I know. I should have considered what she was trying to hide, understanding where she was coming from.
I had no idea what she was so scared of in this place and what this place was even.
