I talked big.
I scoffed upon Fifi leaving me with my thoughts and the orb in my hand. It was no longer warm, and I actually wanted to hurl it outside.
Partly, I was curious what Nichen would do if he learned I threw his precious orb away. I was going to do it out of spite.
But then, my curiosity was much stronger than the urge to get rid of it.
"Hmph." I tossed it in the air and caught it in my hands. "If I dropped this on the floor, would it break into tiny pieces?"
I tossed it again, watching it fall into my palms before purposely missing catching it. It rolled on the floor but didn't even have the tiniest crack on it.
"Huh," I expressed, picking up the orb before playing with it in my palms again. "So I'm supposed to figure out how you function, eh?"
I clicked my tongue, lying down on the bed at last.
