Thwack!
Fifi finally lost her patience and hit me in the head. I rubbed that part and refused to be triggered by that.
Merithel was still here.
"Hm," Merithel mumbled. She put a hand on Mico's shoulder, a smile on her lips. "Well then, we'll take our leave. Just remember that you can call for Riley or me if you happen to change your mind."
I pursed my lips.
"That's impossible."
Merithel chuckled.
"We'll see," she looked at me, her eyes gleaming like she was sure I'd be considering the offer to join them.
"Ha! Be gone, woman!"
She looked me in the eye and smirked before vanishing into thin air.
"Tch," I mumbled, turning to Fifi. She was staring at the sky where Merithel and Mico disappeared. "So, you and that brother of yours… you seem to have a different relationship with him compared to Rex. Are you two alright?"
Fifi took a deep breath, her shoulders sagging right after.
