With no way to know whether the people in Crystal's place were dead or alive, we started searching the area.
In my best bet, they were taken to some other place. The place was a wreck.
If there had been anyone left behind, they might manage to survive for a few hours before giving up on waiting for rescue.
If there was even a rescue.
By the looks of it, no one cared what would happen to the place. It already looked abandoned, and the people were not alive in the morning.
It was forsaken, in a sense, and that in itself wouldn't merit them a rescue team to come and salvage what could be salvaged.
I think even the thieves wouldn't even try taking anything from around. If they wanted to search and try their luck in retrieving usable items, no one would stop them.
But with everything in ruins, it was discouraging even to try.
