"Fifi!" I exclaimed. My gratitude was way over the roof. I couldn't help it. "Damn, I wouldn't deny it now. I kind of missed this. But before I get all excited, are you guys alright?"
'Um, yeah. You kind of passed out.'
I blew out a sigh.
'So I was right. This was nothing but an illusionary world. If I will myself to wake, I could do it right?'
'Perhaps.'
'Okay.' I used all my might to get myself to wake up. However, my reflection wavered, seizing my attention. 'That's weird.'
'What?'
'There's a mirror-like interface before me. I'm not sure if I'm really Exo right now or Elijah.'
Fifi was silent for a while. She seemed to have mused about my situation.
'Does that matter for your decision making?'
'Maybe,' I answered. 'Not so much. Just a lot of maybe.'
'Then, proceed. These things exist to confuse you.'
'They said it's for a test.'
I felt Fifi snort and imagined her shaking her head in disbelief.
