My breath hitched.
I felt like someone had stabbed me in the gut, and for the record, I'm keeping my thoughts pure as much as I can.
Taking a step back, I narrowed my gaze at Diva, shaking my head. It was no longer Diva. But the monster took over her body.
"Where did you take her?"
The monster laughed amusingly again.
"She's here," the monster pressed a finger on Diva's chest. "In here. I just put her to sleep for a while. It was nice having a chat with you earlier."
I scoffed, my cheeks reddening. I knew it was too good to be true. It was too good to be true to be Winter.
She might have done something like that, but the approach would be different.
"If you harm her in any way, I'd make sure you don't see the next day."
The monster chuckled.
"Didn't you plan to kill her earlier? Now you're threatening me for borrowing her body?"
I pursed my lips.
