My office was on the third floor. And apparently, I'm the head of the operations team.
The job mostly involved supervising and signing documents. I had nothing else scheduled for the day. But the day after tomorrow was full of meetings from left and right.
"Being an adult is surely exhausting," I mumbled, dropping my head on the table. The computer screen had been dead for long, and I was beginning to wonder what kind of life decisions I had to make to land here.
The concept seemed foreign to me too.

Other than waking up earlier and finding Winter and then Ely, our daughter, my mind couldn't remember anything.
