Reyn felt her heart stop beating when her mother did not speak. It was silent. Even Louis didn't even hear her move. Reyn was forced to look at the young man and she bent down again when she saw that he was staring at her.
"Let me talk to Louis," her mom answered coldly.
Reyn got winded. She didn't expect her mother to talk to her like that. She looked at Louis anxiously until she sighed. She covered the headset and couldn't look straight as she handed it to Louis. "My mom wants to talk to you," she said shyly. She first had to explain to Louis so that he could understand what she had done. Reyn looked at Louis when he took the phone from her. "I swear, this is the only thing I know..." she said, shyly.
"I understand, don't worry," Louis said, and then answered the call. Reyn was shocked. Louis was serious, but he didn't look angry. Should Reyn be celebrating?
