"Be careful," Bella warned the two men as they passed by her hut on their way to town. Zack and Tim made the decision to stay in town for a month in order to resolve Christopher's case and obligations. The island contract will be finalized.
The werewolves welcomed Tim with open arms. They don't think twice about it because it's also a werewolf. Even if it didn't become a werewolf in the usual sense and was simply the outcome of an experiment. They still take a sidelong glance towards Tim.
Zack convened a meeting the moment they arrived last night. Tim patiently described the procedure to the werewolves. The werewolves readily accepted this and placed their complete trust in the two guys. He stated that the two expect the group's assistance. The party concluded that night.
Zack got ready early the next day. Two more men passed him, which was unusual. He intended to make coffee for them, but they declined since they indicated they would be late coming down the mountain.
"I told the werewolves," Zack said, handing over the satellite phone to Bella. "If you have anything you need, don't be shy to say it," Zack continued. "When there's a change, you're the only one I'll call."
Bella's gaze was drawn to the two men as they walked away. She simply sighed and muttered a little prayer for Zack's safety.
Bella walked inside and spent some time repairing the cabin. She sewed blindfolds as well. She had to do it because she didn't want Zack to drive her insane. She wished she could shake herself. She couldn't fall asleep soon away, despite being exhausted from the day's labor. Zack is something she genuinely misses.
When she remembered how Zack leased her, she smiled. She missed his laughter and how it made her smile. Bella simply sighed at the sensation that had returned.
Five days had passed. Bella was contacted. She wanted to chuckle at herself since answering the satellite phone made her almost tremble! She couldn't wait to call Zack!
Bella regained her composure. "Hello?" she exclaimed quickly.
Zack inquired, "How are you?"
'Here. I really miss you. Zack, this is insane. Now I've demonstrated that I miss you even more. How many times have you left without me, but this is the first time I've felt this way? I quickly become bored. Zack, the wait is crazy. I hope you're on your way home now...' Bella said in her mind. To keep from speaking terrible words, she bit his bottom lip hard.
Despite her racing heart, Bella just said, "I'm okay here."
"I apologize for not calling; Tim and I walked a lot," Zack explained.
She grinned. "How's your walk going?"
"We've already spoken to other Christopher creditors; we're still looking for some, so we haven't been able to go home yet," he explained. "We've also asked for assistance in speaking with the detective. We've already recruited somebody to speak with him," he explained.
Bella shrugged. She reassured, "Everything will be alright."
Zack's distant reply was, "I want to see you."
Bella was holding her breath. She also had to bite her lower lip so hard to keep from beaming with delight. The ferocity with which her chest pounded.
"Z-Zack..." said Bella. She couldn't think of anything to say! What the system says is perplexing!
"Do you want to see me as well?" Zack inquired solemnly.
Her heart is screaming "yes," but she can't acknowledge it. She wanted to pull herself because she had no idea.
"Ella ..."
"Yes," she replied quickly, biting her bottom lip once more. Her heart seemed to be already on her tongue!
Silence won out. She was nervous. Zack let out a long breath as Bella's palm trembled from the strain of clutching the satellite phone.
"Ella—"
"Zack? Hello? Hello?" Bella exclaimed as Zack paused in his speech. Their call has been disconnected. The talk abruptly vanishes when it is wonderful.
Bella attempted calling Zack's phone number, but it was no longer in service. The phone appears to be switched off.
Bella simply grumbled. She was so agitated that she couldn't understand what was going on until she simply sighed. She had no choice but to wait.
Bella miss him terribly and wished to hear his voice once more.
Bella screamed, "Zack!" It had already begun to dawn. She was convinced she was dreaming. She hasn't called Zack since she last spoke to him on the satellite phone two days ago. She felt far more homesick than before. She was tempted to call Zack several times, but she was ashamed because she assumed he was occupied. She was well aware that Zack had a lot on his plate.
Bella assumed she was suffering a hallucination because she was thinking too much. Bella felt she could see or hear him. She's already dizzy, and she tweaks herself to get out of her mania.
Zack was calling her earlier, and she assumed it was in a dream. She didn't wake up right away. Zack raised the phone and knocked, startling her. Her spirit appeared to wake up when she realized Zack was truly there, and she swiftly opened the door. In such haste, she couldn't even tie the blindfold properly. But it's fine because what matters is that her eyes are still covered.
"You take so long," Zack grumbled, hugging Bella tightly.
Bella's heartbeat became faster. Her chest constricted. She was gasping for air. In her system, there was a lot of emotion. She was unsure about herself. Everything is jumbled up. Her hug with Zack was too tight, she didn't realize. She didn't want to let it go either.
"You miss me?" Zack inquired. Zack had not yet been released from the hug. Bella buried her face to Zack's chest. Zack kissed her hair and held her in his arms, which warmed Bella's heart.
Bella couldn't hide her desire for the man any longer.
Zack said, "I miss you."
Her heart softened as Bella chuckled. "Silly. Did you travel specifically for that? "
