South Sudan is one of 54 independence countries in Africa, it's located in north east of Africa and it was part of Sudan before independence.when the British were about to hand over the responsibilities of Sudan, the Arabs dominated the power and started to marginalized the African indegineous people which later on resulted in to the power struggle.in 1955 before the independent of Sudan the southern Sudanese picked up arms and fought to free themselves from Arabs, this fighting resulted in to the signing of Adis Ababa Agreement but the agreement didn't met the demand of southern Sudanese.in1983 the southern rebel under the leadership of Dr John Garang emerged and fought for 21 years that resulted in the signing of CPA ( comprehensive peace agreement) between Spla ( southern rebel) and Ncp which was the ruling party in Sudan under the leadership of president Bashir, this CPA was signed in Naivasha Kenya under the supervison of international and regional bodies.After 6 years of unity government referendum was conducted where the people of southern Sudan voted over 90% to free themselves and became independent from North Sudan on the 9 July 2011under the leadership of president Salva Kiir but shortly after that the country when back to wars created by the greedy politicians (2013 up now)
