"Verity and Kit, it's a nice sunny day. How about we go for those swimming lessons down by the lake?
Kit stopped what he was doing, his mood dropped drastically.
The pleasure that he got from making his own pottery jar was now gone.
He looked across at Nyla for assistance but her hands were busy, currently molding clay into the shape of a pot to store more water.
Nyla was looking downwards so she couldn't see him trying to make eye contact with her.
He was hoping for Nyla to say she needed him there and he was pleading with his eyes but got no response.
Verity was no help either she got up eagerly like she had been waiting on this day forever. She couldn't wait to learn how to swim.
So many times she could have been of more use had she learnt how to swim. Zyra frowned, was it too soon for Kit?
"I'm up for it, let's go," Verity said gleefully.
