KILO'S POV
I keep Ymir between Lennox's sword and the source of the generator. Making sure I keep a steady amount of pressure against Lennox's blade, I address the surrounding soldiers. "I am Star Castyr's Guardian! Major Lennox was in league with the former king of Hades and leaked confidential information to Hades!"
For a moment, the majority of the red dots move to Lennox, but the blonde is quick to interfere. "I am Major Lennox, loyal soldier to the Heavens! I caught this man trying to kidnap Star Castyr!! I need your help to stop him and save Ithyos' star!!"
Well, he is partially right. I am here to take Castyr out of Ithyos, but if I fail, Lennox will find a way to kill Castyr.
"Lennox! Stop this!!" I plead one last time, hoping to come to a truce.
My hopes are crushed when Lennox's lips curl into an evil smirk. The blonde releases his sword from its path to the generator and shoves his foot in my chest, kicking me away from the source.
"Soldiers of Ithyos! Save Star Castyr! Kill this traitorous angel!!" Lennox bellows.
I watch as the soldiers above adjust their aim, and nearly all the red dots are floating on me. "Lennox," I growl in a warning.
I am ready to kill.
Lennox notices the change in my eyes and falters for a split second. I take that split second and slash Ymir across his chest. The wound is not fatal as Lennox was able to back away at the last moment; it is just enough to save his life. With my strike, the soldiers open fire. I maneuver to be behind Lennox and use him as a shield. As expected, the guards cease fire for fear of harming their commanding officer.
Lennox whips around, his sword ready to be painted with blood. I evade his strike but did not realize how close I was to the generator's source. With my evasion, Lennox's blade collides with the source, creating a crack. Knowing the source is now unstable, I turn from Lennox and spread my wings. I have to get to Castyr.
As soon as I leave Lennox, the soldiers once again open fire. I am able to evade most of the bullets, but a few of them find my wings and body. The bullets stop as I reach Castyr. It would not do if Ithyos' star was harmed. I put up my sword and gently take my star in my arms, resting Castyr's head against my chest.
"So you want to fly off with him again?! Very well! Let's all fly off together, then!!" Lennox yells at me madly as he begins striking the generator's source wildly.
Seeing Lennox trying to destroy the source, the soldiers divert their aim to the major, hoping to stop him from blowing them into smithereens. I take this time to teleport to the corridor surrounding the generator. From there, I teleport us to the space station, wanting to get Castyr as far from the residence as possible even if it means using all my energy in this massive teleportation.
I instantly fall to one knee when we teleport inside the space station. A fierce rumble shakes the station causing the people around us to gasp and shake in fear. I immediately cover Castyr with my body and wrap my wings around us as a blast of light and energy sweeps through the station. The building trembles as columns and walls crack and falter.
As soon as the light passes, I unwrap my wings and check on Castyr. He is still unconscious. I hold him close to my body as I stand to my feet and begin running. Using the chaos from the station becoming structurally unstable, I run to the branch of the station which holds the military crafts. The hangar is empty as the soldiers have gone to assess the situation and help get citizens to safety. I hurry to the nearest craft which can travel through deep space and enter a master code on the door's pad.
I carry Castyr into the craft as soon as the door opens. After gently setting Castyr into the co-pilot's chair, I situate myself in the pilot chair and close the hatch. Cracks appear in the walls of the hangar as I activate the power core and send power to the thrusters.
Beams and support columns collapse as the craft disembarks and maneuvers through the hangar. Chunks and shards fall in front of us; I sharply turn the craft to the right to evade the falling debris causing us to head for the wall. As soon as the debris passes, I turn us back to the left and continue towards the mouth of the hangar.
The structure of the station becomes extremely unstable as we near the exit. Walls collapse all around, and a cloud of dust veils the exit. Gritting my teeth and praying for the best, I increase the power to the thrusters and fly into the cloud of dust.
