Elvis looked up at her, his eyes were blank for a moment before he stared down at her again. He didn't get this question, perhaps he did but did not want to think further about it. He didn't even want to get attached to ugly memories of the past at all. But seeing Isadora broken this way, he felt something terrible scrunch in his skin as the feeling that she might be going through a lot at that moment became visible in his chest.
If he was to let go of his pasts when he was still a human, he would tell her then. He would tell her that he had. He has and he is still loving that same person. He would tell her that he had also felt the need to do everything for the person he loves which was her. He wanted to tell her that he was right behind her and would always be because he wanted to make sure she was safe.
