"If he was a human...." His first foot landed on the steps and then his other hand ceremoniously on the rails, "If he was a human, he wouldn't have done that."
"Done what?" She asked, confused.
"He wouldn't have been able to expose your maid, Ophelia."
"What?" Isadora's eyes widened in utter shock and confusion. "What do you mean?" She knew she exaggerated because she had known that the maid might be up to no good.
"I was unable to see him. I could only see his shadows. He was tall and he claimed that he had been spying on you and you were the only one who could recognise him because you have seen his face before. Since it was only his shadows, I couldn't tell if he was cold or warn."
"That is not the question." Isadora gritted her teeth, even though she knew that that information might be useful in some way but then she was interested in that fact right now. "I want you to tell me what Ophelia did that he exposed."
