When they reached the lower floor, he dropped her down and looked blankly at her, "Don't dream of coming here ever again, else you are told to. And mind you, your filthy threats won't work and might lead you into trouble with the wrong person."
Isadora knew that he was indirectly talking about Ezekiel but then, that was not what she found interesting right now. Right now, the only thing she found interesting was his reaction. His reaction when she was curious about something. He was definitely hiding something and she wanted to see it by all means!
