"Wow, that sudden boost of confidence." Elvis complimented as he watched her hold the hem of her dress after unlocking their hands. She did not say anything in return as she already knew that he was just mocking her.
"You don't seem to be okay looking at the crowd," he said, fully aware that she wouldn't skip his statement this time.
She slightly turned her neck to him and questioned, her eyes becoming huge, "Is that obvious? What do I do?"
"Don't worry. Be rest assured. As long as I am by your side no evil shall befall."
"You should assure yourself, Elvis."
Elvis formed a smile and took her hand when he realised that she was no longer holding onto her gown since they had gotten past the spotlight.
