"To fight against them?" Elvis questioned, the berry that he was about to pluck dangled at his slight touch. He took back his arm and held it to his body, "Do you mean the red masked men are initially from Artheca and they headed here just because you are here?"
Cedric shook his head as if tired of explaining when he hadn't even started. "I was attacked by a group of red masked men. I fought them and won, a few days later, the masked men attacked our town and killed many of us. The rumour of me successfully fighting some of them spread and then I was instructed to lead an army."
"And then?"
"When things got worse and they discovered that the masked men didn't seem to be human, they kicked me out to fight them, stating that if I am out of their fortress, there would be at peace once again."
"That is absurd," Elvis exclaimed as he heard what the young man said. How would a ruler or the denizens of Artheca think so lowly? "Why and how then are you led to Venesia!"
