Putting the lock on her door, Yvonne opened her door and slide herself into the house. Today is really a sunny day and she has finally gotten a job. A worker at a local deli. Yvonne doesn't really mind working there as long as it would bring her food to the table and cover part of her bills.
If in case life becomes tougher than she has ever expected, then, she might have to retire to her parent's little bungalow they had left for her in the West.
At least, she would have a home of her own. Yvonne heaved a sigh from her mouth, as she carried the grocery bags to the kitchen, her supplies were already finished, thus, she thought that a fresh supply was needed, one that would make her fridge filled with food stocks that would take her for about two weeks or so.
The young lady was almost done with dinner when she heard a knock on her door.
"I am not expecting anyone," Yvonne said to herself.
