Once Yvonne tried denying the fact that she was hungry, her stomach rumbled and she blushed profusely. That was kind of awkward, but then, Gael did not mind, neither did he laugh out loud, instead, he let the whole issue slide down by pretending like he did not hear anything.
"Wait, not so fast, Gael, you are injured, I think you should be taken care of first before we sit down to eat, how about that?" she asked as she heaved a gentle sigh.
She was right, and it was at this moment that Gael felt the pain cut across his head, but he had to act like the pain was a small thing and did not hurt him that much. Well, he could pretend, but Yvonne knew once that he was just acting to make her think that everything is fine.
"I am fine, Yvonne, I speak the truth, if not for that damn man who attacked me from behind, and when I was unaware, I would have surely done him greater harm than what I have done already," Gael spat out fuming.
