Leon Dragniere, the book didn't shed much light on this character but it was the typical dog blood drama as Bree tried to remember it. The Queen and Leon shared the same father but they didn't have to share the same mother, Queen Brianna's mother was the overthrown Empress who was secretly cursed in the middle of the night, no one ever found out who did it but the suspicion was directed towards the third consort who was a witch and the mother of the only son and a could be heir of the throne, Leon Dragniere.
Because she wasn't the Empress, her son wasn't a part of the competition for the throne thus when the Dragon Queen's mother became incapable to act as an Empress, it was believed that the third consort did some sort of witchcraft to curse the Dragon Queen's mother but then she became the Empress and even the Dragon Queen had to call her 'mother' and give her the respect that she would have given her mother, so what can others say about the third consort?
