Bree didn't say anything in response. She turned her gaze away after giving Blaise another exasperated look. Seeing her move her gaze away, Blaise rolled his eyes. He said to her, "You can deny it all you want, your majesty. But I know that you desire me just as much as I desire you. It's a primal instinct and need that you cannot ignore."
"Do you not see me ignoring you?" Bree remarked as she turned her head and looked at the man sitting next to her. As soon as she finished speaking, the man smiled at her and winked. "I will let you live in denial for a bit longer."
The carriage came to a stop and the two of them stepped out of the carriage. Blaise was the first to step out as he reached out his hand and held it up for Bree to take. Probably because they were in public, Bree did not refuse his gesture and then stepped out of the carriage.
