On getting to the ground floor's entrance, Bai Yi Chen nodded politely to the man standing by the door as he stepped into the room. While he walked, he could hear the low murmurs and whispers of the people staring at him,
"Anchor Bai is here."
"Uhn! Anchor Bai? Where is he?"
"Isn't that the anchor of the evening news?"
"You mean the one at Nanchun press who won that award last year, uhn...what was its name again?"
"So handsome."
Not even bothering to pay them any attention, Bai Yi Chen faltered out the whispers and murmurs as he continues to walk, only turning to offer a polite nod to the few people he recognized here and there before finally making his way towards the two men beckoning him over by his left.
