Chapter 8 - chapter 8

"Fortunately, Mr. Agus's illness can be known earlier. Because it usually takes 5 to 10 years for HIV disease to be detected. Because if the HIV virus is left without treatment, it will develop into AIDS. This HIV virus attacks the patient's immunity. Although this virus has no cure but we can continue to maintain the immunity of sufferers. Diligently taking ARV(antiretroviral) drugs for a year, when you start contracting the HIV/AIDS virus."

The remarks the Doctor made still sounded in Dinda's ears. Several times Dinda gasped for a long breath. Since being in the Doctor's room her chest felt so tight.

"If you really want to have offspring, you can still do it. It's just that it has to go through a long process. The patient must take an ARV for one year for the HIV virus to become passive but that does not mean it cures."

Dinda's body suddenly went limp. She almost fell. Dinda pulled her limp body on a bench that was along the hallway of the hospital corridor. The hooded woman cried miserably. All this was like a nightmare to him.

"Hello, Miss, are you okay?" Someone greeted Dinda and patted her on the shoulder.

Dinda did not answer. Her shoulders trembled violently, and kept hiding her tear-wet face.

"Miss, is there anything I can help?" the man in the white uniform said back.

"No thanks!" replied Dinda without turning her head in the slightest. She was busy wiping away his tears.

"Okay, if you need one, you can contact me," said the man, walking over to leave Dinda.

"Wait!" Dinda was indeed the male Doctor.

The man in the white uniform who had already walked far enough away from Dinda turned his head. Dinda was very surprised when she saw the man. So did the man.

"Dinda!"

"The Word!" they said at the same time.

Doctor Firman twisted his body towards Dinda. "Dinda, what's the matter? Why are you here? Who is sick?" Firman asked with a curious face.

"Yes,Doc," Dinda replied in a quiet voice.

Firman was Dinda's college friend while in Bandung. Their relationship is quite close. But Dinda only regarded the man as her best friend. Although everyone knows that the Word likes Dinda.

"Why are you crying?" asked Doctor Firman.

"My husband is sick, so I..." Dinda paused he said.

"Oh, husband you!" replied Doctor Firman with a languid face. Between heartbreak and jealousy.

"Is there anything I can help?" said Doctor Firman.

"No Doc, no need. The doctor has already dealt with my husband," Dinda replied, forcing a smile.

Doctor Firman nodded in understanding. He didn't want to force Dinda to tell a story.

When I was in college, Doctor Firman really liked Dinda. Because Dinda's face is beautiful and the girl is very smart. It's just that Dinda never assumed doctor Firman's feelings existed. Until the separation finally arrived, Doctor Firman never expressed his feelings.

---

Agus turned his head towards the open entrance. Staring at Dinda who walked uninspiredly towards him. Even if Dinda smiled, Agus could see if something had changed his wife's mood.

"What did the Doctor say, baby? All is well, right?" asked Agus looking fixedly at Dinda. Anxiety was in his gaze.

"All is well, baby! Tomorrow the Doctor has allowed you to go home," Dinda said, forcing a smile on her lips.

"Thank goodness!" Agus looked happy. Likewise with Dinda smiling falsely.

"Dinda, why are you? You're crying?" Agus looked suspiciously at Dinda's face. Both eyes were moist.

"No, I didn't cry!" Dinda rubbed both eyes. "I was just a twinkle," Dinda lied.

Agus was silent and did not answer. He pretended to believe Dinda's words. Although in fact he didn't believe it.

-----

Agus's room was still in a mess. Dinda cleaned the room very carefully. She didn't want the broken glass to hit her leg. The sound of the house bell ringing stopped Dinda's activities. Dinda immediately walked in the direction of the door of the house.

"Good morning, baby!" greeted a burly man standing outside the door, as Dinda opened the door.

Dinda's face was instantly shocked. Her body trembled with fear.

"It seems that we don't need to get acquainted, I'm sure you already know me!" said the man staring sarcastically.

"Where is my lover? Did you hide it? You really have the heart!" The man harryed into the apartment. Then sat down on the sofa bench.

"Stop you disturbing our lives, evil humans!" retorted Dinda in an angry tone. Her face looked resentful looking at Pram.

"Me? Annoy you?" Pram manicured mockingly. "Didn't I hear it right? It is precisely you who have disturbed my and Agus's happiness!" snapped Pram angrily.

"Shut your mouth, Pram! Disgusting humans!" insulted Dinda. "I will not let my husband meet you again!" Dinda's eyes bulged.

PLAk…

Pram slapped Dinda's face. Instantly the woman's face turned away from Pram's gaze.

"You will not be able to separate me from Agus. Because Agus is mine," Pram said with great emphasis.

Dinda rubbed her cheeks which felt hot from Pram's slap. He put on a cynical face. "Who said, the proof is now Agus is mine. He is my husband!" said Dinda. "It's better for you to back off than you're going to cry because my husband prefers me!" Dinda mocked Pram with a laugh.

Pram's face was getting irritated. He got up and dragged Dinda's wrist. Pram roughly slammed Dinda's body on the sofa.

"Is it really like that dear!" Pram looked at Dinda with a savage look. He took off the shirt he was wearing.

"Pram, what are you going to do!" Dinda pulled her body to touch the edge of the sofa. She was very scared.

Pram is shirtless. Roughly Pram pulled the hood that Dinda was wearing until it came off. Dinda screamed and cried, but Pram locked the apartment door instead.

"Why? You are scared? Or maybe Agus hasn't done it yet?" Pram smiled mischievously. He took off the pants he was wearing. The frightened Dinda immediately ran towards the kitchen.

"Wait for you!" Pram shouted after Dinda.

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill you!" Dinda pointed a knife at the naked man.

"Do it if you can!"

Pram continues to attack Dinda and…
