Far away from the new lands, near where Thomas and Shu met, two people fell from the sky.
Thomas, a middle-aged man with greying black hair, a beard, a muscular physique, and green eyes, dressed in worn-out clothes that indicated the many years of adventuring he had gone through. And Hannah, a young teenage girl with long white hair, cow-like demon horns, a slender physique, and red eyes, dressed like a witch with a cloak and a hat.
"Hannah, are you okay?"
The man asked when he saw that she was pale.
"I'm okay. It's just that controlling our lending was harder than I thought."
The girl answered while breathing heavily.
The man gave the girl food from his bag to help her recover her strength, and they rested for a bit.
After resting, the two looked around to see where they were.
The man recognized where they were and started leading the girl to a place he knew.
They both walked for a while until they reached a city with buildings made of concrete and steel that extended to the sky and went just as deep down below. They walked through the city roads, which overlapped each other from all directions and resembled a spider's web.
The girl looked at the city in awe, but there was something familiar about it.
The man noticed her expression and chuckled.
"What is it?"
The girl asked in confusion.
"This city is the city you destroyed when you were mind controlled."
The man explained, and the girl felt deep regret.
Even if not by choice, she helped ruin such beautiful scenery.
They walked through the streets until they reached a side alley. They walked through the dark side road and into a room at the end of it.
The man pressed a button on the door, and the room began moving downwards.
They went down for a while. After a while, they could see a city through the small room's window.
An underground city supported by giant pillars with many houses carved in stone. The buildings looked almost ancient in their designs, with many arches and Corinthian columns, but the bright light and metal roads made this city look even more advanced than the city above ground.
They walked a bit further, but then an old acquaintance of the man showed up.
A black blob thing appeared and started talking in a weird language.
The girl's eyes widened in surprise as she understood what he was saying.
"He is asking if you know where the holder of God's Way is."
The girl translated, and the man lowered his head in disappointment.
"I thought you knew where she was since you are her servant, and it's your duty, but of course you don't."
The man said with a condescending expression. Disgust toward the ink-colored blob was noticeable in his voice.
"Ayım kayda? Sen paydasız bok!"
[Translation: where is the Mrs? You useless shit!]
The blob shouted at him in anger. But the man didn't even bat an eye as he kept going toward one of the pillars.
"So what now?"
The girl asked.
"We shall wait for the old hag. Without her or someone else's help, we won't be able to keep going with our current power levels. For now, let's go rent a room in the city."
The man answered, and they went to look for a hotel.
********
In a kingdom far from the city of the human god and Birnin Mutuwa but not so far from the first stop of the monster train, deep in the territory of the criminal god's followers.
A lawless area that stretches for a great distance in each direction.
At the center, there's the land that was added during the tournament five hundred years before the current tournament.
At the time, the participants were ruthless and either massacred entire species or built huge criminal organizations to win. Very few acted as heroes and protected the residents of the godless realm, which worked in their favor because when everyone does crime, it's more impressive to see who helps the helpless.
The winner of that tournament was a young man from a noble family in the Human God's Realm, the Cahol family, and he received a replica of the sword of Chaos in return for his endeavors.
In that lawless area, two people appeared out of nowhere. Eyewitnesses claim that they fell from the sky.
Dam, a young man with brown hair, a muscular physique, and green eyes, dressed in ragged clothes which, with heavy care, would probably fit an aristocrat, but after the fall, they lost their good looks. And Emilia, a half-demoness half-human teenage girl with golden hair, goat-like horns, slender but a bit too skinny physique, and eyes as blue as the deep sea, dressed in a ragged maid's uniform which she requested Hannah to make her when they were still on the ship.
They were both found by an old man with glowing red eyes and black hair.
The old man whispered something, and their unconscious bodies started floating and following him.
He walked in a simple manner with minimal movement but faster than most people, as if each of his steps was calculated beforehand.
They reached a cave, and the old man whispered something again.
A massive ball of fire appeared in front of the old man, who didn't lift a finger, and then the ball of fire flew quickly into the cave.
After waiting a minute, the old man entered the cave and walked through an unexpectedly wide path.
All the torches on the walls were lit, and scorched bodies of monsters were lying on the ground.
He reached the far end of the path, and a glowing door appeared in front of him.
He made the floating bodies of Dam and Emilia move through the door.
He was about to go through, but he sensed someone standing behind him.
He turned his head and said.
"So you are not giving up on that deal, huh?"
