You know the joy of being awake after a long slumber or being raised from the dead, well my case is kind of in between, Crystal couldn't hold her scream when I opened my eyes, she hugged me and called the doctor, the doctors and nurse rushed in and did some checking on me, the doctor smiled and touched my shoulder tapping it a big as he faced Crystal.
"You said you are his girlfriend right??" He said as she looked at the floor, she was completely shy and embarrassed. I get why the police would never give her a chance to see me if the reason wasn't concrete.
"What's the wrong doctor?" I asked and he smiled.
"Well, we are glad you are awake, .."
" but."
"But, there are still some fragments of bullets in your heart, thank goodness, the bullet didn't reach the heart but there was still some figment there." He said and I looked at Crystal who had a shock on her face.
