The second time, I thought I was just seeing someone else who looked exactly like Carter with that annoyingly handsome face usually donned with a smug and proud smirk with his head held high like a proud peacock.
The man standing before me had every of the features that points at him being Carter so why do I keep denying it in my head when my brain already knows the answer?
Except for the smug look that's always on his face though. He didn't have that. If anything at all, his face twisted into one of surprise. Not fully shocked like I was but I could still see the surprise whirl around in his turquoise eyes.
My own shock was understandable. I mean, that lazy bag of potatoes does nothing but sit around everyday while partying with his other rich and spoilt friends at every chance he gets or taking a new woman to warm his bed at different hotels.
