It was hard to tell what I felt when christabella spat those words right in my face and then shut the door on me the same way.
Was I stunned? Too stunned that I just stared at the angry lines that drew on her forehead as she said the longest words she'd ever said to me.
Or was I pained? Pained that most of the things that goddamned spitfire said was all true even if I lie to myself and deny it a thousand times. She might have used different words to pass across the fact that I don't deserve to be the heir to Lithe technologies but it doesn't change the effects the words had and how hard they hit me.
Again, was it anger? Anger that stunned me to complete silence or the one that makes me want to break something and everything I can get my hands on.
Whatever feelings she left me with, they were agonizing and thawed at me in the most unexplainable way. I desperately sought for release from those feelings.
