It is extremely difficult for me to breathe. Ace's grandmother had just said something that I hadn't seen coming.
'Did she really want me to give Ace kids, or am I hearing things wrong?' I questioned myself.
I was still frozen when Ace decided to ask his grandmother to retract her statement because it appears that he was also taken aback by her recent outburst. "What did you just say grandma?" Ace asks, and his brow furrows.
"What in the world did you just hear me say? I desperately need a grandchild, and I need it as soon as possible. It would be extremely kind of you if you could do that for me, and I promise that once you have fulfilled my wish, I will never ask you for anything else." Grandmother Lucinda explains.
Her explanation astounds me, and I continue to open my mouth slightly in complete surprise.
I had no idea Grandma Lucinda had accepted me until this very moment, and I'm grateful that she has.
