"Could you please repeat your last statement?" I question Abe because it appears that I heard something else.
"I messaged you an hour ago that you should pick up Bellatrix because I had a business meeting close to my parents' mansion." Abe elaborate.
My brows furrowed. "Are they supposed to be closing by this time?" I enquired.
"Yes. They started their exam today." Abe replied.
I can't believe Bellatrix has already begun her school exam and I'm completely unaware. "So you're saying she might have..."
"Parents are expected to pick up their children by 12:00 p.m." Abe responded as he interrupted my statement. "And why are you asking so many questions?" Abe added.
I exhale. "Is it raining?" I'm puzzled because I can't hear the sound of rain, but Abe's body is slightly soaked with water.
