"I'm sorry, I think I misunderstood your statement." I declare, and she gives me a warm smile.
Grandma Lucinda slowly rises from her seat and makes her way towards me. I have to hold my breath for a while because she is still holding the bottle of water. I'm not sure if the words she said to me were meant to make me smile before she attacked me with her hoarse words. "Natasha." Grandma Lucinda summoned me.
I arched my brows and continued to hold my breath. "Ma." I murmur.
"Don't you not want to be a member of my family?" My eyes widened as she inquired. "Are you saying you've finally accept me as your daughter-in-law?" While stammering, I inquired.
"I'm fine with it if you agree to be my daughter-in-law."
I felt as if I were in a dream, and I finally let out my breath. I jump up in complete joy, exclaiming in complete happiness. "Thanks a lot thanks... I really appreciate it!" I jump up and exclaim.
