The sound of the ticking clock made Darius a bit nervous. He just arrived at the only college in the city. Since most courses here were designed for an online set-up, it only had a four-story building. The second floor had offices, while the third and fourth floors held the laboratories and workshops for the vocational courses holding their hands-on activities. The lectures were normally online and modular.
He was here because he was going to meet his professor and some classmates for the first time this year. It was always like this, but some classes would merge, depending on the courses. Moreover, this was a time for the professor to gauge the kind of students that he had for the semester. Since they were graduating students, the professor needed to talk to them about internships as well.
