Loud noises conquered the kitchen as usual. The kitchen brigade was working on everyone else's breakfast, while Darius had two stations for himself. He was fixing breakfast for the non-wolves and for Nicholai who was still suffering from the aftereffects of his sudden power surge. While cooking, he wondered if all the Kings would suffer should they do the same.
"Daddy, why don't we eat that all the time? It smells really nice." Adrian was standing next to his daddy, finding the smell of the fried eggs worth his hunger. He could also smell a lot of condiments that Darius had stashed away from the kitchen staff use.
"Too many eggs are bad. Humans normally eat this for breakfast." Breaking out of his trance, Darius smiled at the boy. "Do you want some for today? You can't have it again for the whole week."
