Ka-ching! It made the sound as the drawer opened. The replacement machine they had, for now, was the old kind where there was no screen, only the register itself. However, it was easier for a newbie to operate it without too much supervision. However, even if Nicholai messed up, it was his own store.
Since they had a customer who bought a few bottles of milk, the cashier had to go to work. Of course, since it was the first one they had for the day, Darius was filming it from one of the stands he had to refill. The other two employees were watching him closely.
"…have a nice day…" Nicholai almost whispered, but the customer caught it nonetheless. The Alpha was only going through the procedure, even if he would rather not talk while doing his 'job' for the day.
