Just as the school scheduled, the five buses—that could fit all the willing students of Canini Shore Upper School—had reached the manufacturing company four cities away just in time for their morning operations. Since Megan had also visited the ones inside pack farms, she had an inkling of what machines were. However, she didn't expect them to be so modernized that the pack farms look primitive.
The machines were all bigger and more capable than the ones she had seen before. She was more focused on taking pictures of the machines and workflow, not knowing if Ansel could pick up anything from it. She was even so active in discussions that the guide gave her a pen freebie.
During lunch, the students were supposed to make a short essay about their experience in the factory. Even if they had given food to the students, Megan was still eating the ones given to her by her daddy. After all, what they served didn't satiate Megan's hunger.
