The banquet only grew more boisterous as the wedding ended. The food was rolled in, and the people were let into the dancefloor. The normal music of the banquets had returned, and half of the hall was dedicated to those who liked to dance, while the other half had the tables that were set for those who wanted to eat and toast to the bounties given by the goddess.
Nicholai was ready to dance longer, but he supposed that the pups had saved him. His family occupied one of the tables where they ate, while the pups cheered and grew excited about the dance. Darius was laughing with them while asking them to continue eating to finish their food.
Darius and Nicholai were supposed to leave the banquet now, but they stayed to indulge the pups and speak with others. Well, Darius was the one who spoke to a lot. Nicholai was only there, watching them all from where he sat. It's not like they would speak to him, knowing that he was also a King.
