The long-necked spoons clinked against the glasses while Sarah and Megan continued to dig into their own fancy parfaits. Rica was on her phone, seemingly chatting with someone from work. Under their table were bags worth of clothes and other things that women bought for themselves. With Sarah leaving to live in a castle, Rica thought of sending her off properly.
That was why she decided to shop with the girls today. It's just that Megan couldn't be left without a chaperone that could look after her. Darius was dragged into their girl's day-out, but he was trying his best not to be a hindrance.
