"Answer me." Damon frowned. "Is Emma okay?"
"She is fine." Owen sighed. "It's her roommate, Anna. She is at the hospital."
"What happened?"
"Someone attacked her in their old apartment."
"Is she okay now?" Owen nodded. "Who was it?"
"The police are still looking for them." Owen pondered for a while. He was also finding the situation a little weird and out of place. "And I don't think the police will manage to catch them."
He gave Damon a meaningful look which was enough for him to understand what he was implying.
"I'll see what I can do."

Melissa bumped into Theodore as soon as she entered the house. She gave him a courteous nod before heading towards her room.
"Are Daniel and Owen coming home for dinner tonight?" Theodore inquired.
"Why? Is it something important?" she questioned him back.
Theodore frowned. "Will they come home for dinner only when something of importance is lined up?"
