[7:30 PM, Trinity Club]
“Hey, Em—” Joana approached Emma as soon as she saw her. “What a pleasant surprise.”
“Hey.” Emma gave her a hug. “How are you?”
“I am good. What are you doing here on a Monday evening?”
“I am meeting Isabella around eight for dinner. I had some time on my hands, so I came over for a drink and to spend some time with my favourite people.” Emma smiled.
Though she loved her new workplace and was having a good time, the club was still her favourite workplace. She had worked here for a really long time. Trinity Club was like her second home.
“That’s great. You should come here more often.” When Joana saw her looking for someone, she asked, “Are you looking for your cousin?”
“Is she around today?”
Another reason for coming to the club was to meet Dina and talk to her. Though they had drifted apart over the years, she was still her cousin. Emma wanted to make sure she didn't continue walking in the wrong direction.
