Owen and Damon didn't say anything. They just kept looking back and forth at each other and Daniel.
“What? Did you not expect me to find out?” Daniel scoffed. “I’m sorry, was I supposed to keep quiet and pretend like I don’t know anything?”
After keeping quiet for a while, Owen asked, "How did you find out?"
"That doesn't matter, does it? The main thing is you both lied to me." Daniel pursed his lips. It would be a lie if he said it didn't hurt.
He had gotten the news of Yuri's capture, and he had been waiting for Owen or Damon to tell him about it. But when he did not receive any call or message from them, he understood they were trying to conceal the news from him.
"We didn't lie." Damon tried to defend their action. "We just decided to keep it away from you for a little longer."
"I told him not to tell you," Owen confessed.
"Why?" Daniel looked at his brother. "Why would you do that?"
