Owen patted him back. “Enjoy while you can, because when I come back, you will miss these days a lot.”
Daniel did not say anything. He just smiled.
“Anyway, didn’t you say you were going to see mom?” he inquired.
“I’ll leave after some time.” Daniel sighed at the thought of his angry mother. He had yet to think of a way to coax her.
“So you came here only to make a move on her.” Owen grinned. “Nice.”
“Aren’t you late for your flight?”
“Yeah.” Owen glanced at the watch. “I should go.” Hugging him again, he said, “Call me if you need anything. I’ll be back in two or three days.”
“Be careful. Don’t go overboard,” Daniel reminded him.
“I am just going fishing with Damon.” When he gave him a look again, Owen sighed. “Fine, I won't go overboard. I’ll just follow Damon around.”
